This book has been a life-changer. If you are on your spiritual path and know about the ego, you will already know how controlling and destructive. It can be, not only to yourself but to others. I did not realise the full impact my ego had on me until I began reading this book.

Due to a lack of awareness, programming, and not being taught spirituality, we all believe that we are our egos, or we are the body and mind.

Some of us are not even aware that we have a programmed self that has been made in survival to cope with the old system we lived in. This book is what is helping many awaken and spirituality evolve higher in consciousness to create a reality they want for themselves.

It can run our lives, and if we are not aware of it, we stay identified as it. After my dark night of the soul, I had my spiritual awakening, which lead me to buy Moldavite.

The Moldavite was the crystal that sped up evolution and led me intuitively to purchase and study this (as well as all other David R Hawkins) Books.

The Eye of the I is a very powerful book because it is an in-depth guide that teaches you the difference between your purest energy/expression and the somewhat limited human form you think you are.

When you discover how your ego works to keep you safe by survival (because that is what it was first created for and that’s all it ever knew), it will not only bring awareness and change consciousness, but you may go through a purge or shedding or certain aspects of your ego/old self.

This book can be the catalyst for a big change, but also a trigger for the dark night of the soul as well; thus, with this book, you are carrying a double-edged sword.

Although this book holds power to separate yourself from your ego’s identity, I must warn that it can cause within you a dark night of the soul. If you wish to do deep shadow work and evolve from the identity of a human to a spirit of creation that creates their reality, then this is the book for you.

For those who are not ready to deal with ego death or purge, then you may not be prepared for this book yet. When I first read it, I felt my ego within being terrified.

It came up as pure anguish, fear, and anxiety. There were moments when I put the book away and did not read it for days. I, however, was passionate to evolve and change, even it was painful, so I decided finally to read and study the book, and no matter how terrified I felt, I would not stop reading it until the end.

Now that I finished the book, a lot has changed within me. Yes, I did go through more ego purges, I fought with the negative thoughts of my mind, and I dealt with my emotions as the ego was battling with me to stay the same and comfortable.

Once I decided to change and give love to my ego while reading this book and evolving, its dysphoric thoughts, memories, and feelings, held no power over me anymore. This book has helped me deal with them if they come back up, but in the end, they are less frequent and have weakened.
