My purpose with the Amorism Manifesto in 2022 is to rebirth the love and connection of spirits through the human experience, the beauty of our world, and the expression of four basic types of love: passionate romantic love (Eros); love of friends and equals (Philia); love of parents and children (Storge); love of mankind which is a selfless love (Agape). 

 

Agape is the highest level of love that anyone can offer, and it is demonstrated in terms of dedication to improving the lives of others, being conscious of your actions for the good of mankind, giving of time and charity for someone in need, and practically showing random acts of kindness.

 

What is required more than ever is Agape love, involving compassion, community, and human connection.  As a witness to a lack of Agape love in our current surroundings I decided to explore this as my assignment with a view to bringing the energy of love into the wider world to flourish in the hearts of men and women thereby helping to create a world of kindness, joy, and peace.

 

I know this will be achieved when I see humans at peace not only with themselves but with others and in the environment around them. I see and live in that world where one of the greatest joys of humanity is that of freedom, the freedom to express oneself, to have the time and energy to follow one’s passions, and to have time for those who are loved and cherished.  I believe that creating art involves a relationship and ultimately a love story, and Amorism can be achieved when everyone is the creator and recipient in their own expression of their own Agape love.

 

This Manifesto is also a call to action. To create a change, one must take the first step, but many others will be required to change societies and systems to a new whole. Therefore, I have made this a call to action, so many people can create art based on this intention of receiving the sacredness of love on Earth again.

 

Amorism is not some fantasy delusional rambling dream of a love-struck artist. On the contrary, Amorism is a serious yet joyful and playful adventure to awaken at a stronger level into our world. One of the most powerful emotions ever experienced by mankind is love. I intend to bring the purity of that love back, unrestricted by conditions of old societal chains, which locked love into a distorted version of conditional love.

 

I have planned to make this Manifesto and Amorism a reality and spread it to the masses to use as they wish over of course of two years. My purpose is to birth Amorism into full fruition on our planet, people's hearts, and societies by the year 2024.

 

The outcome of this Manifesto is to begin the next moment that will end most of the hate, loneliness, and pain many of us have experienced on this planet since the pandemic and other unfortunate factors. I have always believed that love is the most powerful force, and love conquers all. So, along with all who decide to support this Manifesto, I have decided to bring it to life in our worlds and societies.
